Made of birch, basswood, and poplar plywood, Pou Yen’s stylish bentwood chairs are available in a diverse range of designs for various applications and settings. The chairs come in clear lacquer finish, with an optional choice of chrome-plated ferrous tube legs, and some with armrests. The company’s floor chairs, which are especially popular in Japan, are available with swivels and cushions made of 100% acrylic and polyester. These can also be made to order.
Pou Yen exports 35% of its output to Japan, and also supplies bentwood panels to local chair manufacturers. The firm’s annual revenues amount to some US$2,675,000. Its own R&D team constantly introduces new and trendy products, and the company also welcomes OEM orders.
