This year's event saw unprecedented participation and featured significant contributions from the Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association (TLFEA) and the Taipei Kitchen and Cabinet Commercial Association (TCCA), drawing considerable attention from attendees.
This year, TLFEA presented a "Lighting Zone" with 18 member companies, highlighting innovations in smart lighting, commercial lighting, system integration, and self-branding. TLFEA Chairman Wenjie Kang emphasized that smart lighting represents the future of the industry. Kang noted, Taiwan's unique strengths in this sector, including original design, Made in Taiwan (MIT) manufacturing, high-quality production, and a comprehensive industrial chain. These advantages facilitate the integration of various industries and have attracted new cross-field lighting manufacturers, resulting in a diverse array of lighting products.
In parallel, TCCA Chairman Will Hsu discussed the association's exhibits, which focused on catering to Taiwan's growing population of over 6.5 million single-person households. The TCCA's "Future Life Pavilion" addressed generational lifestyles through themes of aesthetics, color, and design.
The pavilion featured the "Free Single" zone, blending functionality and taste; the "Life of Two" area, designed for dual-income no-kids (DINK) couples, offering romantic styles that could transform the home into a perpetual date scene; the "Extended Family" section, which considers multi-generational living with an emphasis on family integration and communication, promoting shared cooking and cozy parent-child interactions; and the "Senior Citizen" area, prioritizing functionality and safety with features like easy-to-operate designs, solid wood touches, and rounded hardware corners, reflecting thoughtful design for the elderly.
