Taipei, Sept. 5, 2008 (CENS)-After President Ma Ying-jeou`s admission of the administration`s inability to realize his "633" campaign promise, the Taiwan Stock Exchange Weighted Average Price Index (Taiex index) plunged 172 points on Sept. 4 to 6,412, below the 10-year or even 20-year average of Taiex indices, which market players say may signal a bear market.
