山板樵工作館前身為一木雕工作室，主人林文源、彭妃玉夫婦從事木雕已十餘年。1999年轉型木雕從事教學，並成立臉譜館。現除展覽豐富各式臉譜，近年更以道地客家子弟而開發相關客家文化創意商品，未來期盼結合更多在地元素，創造出更具有文化特色的產品。
