Taipei AMPA 2-in-1 show to kick off in April in hybrid manner
2022/02/10 | By EDNTaipei AMPA and Autotronics Taipei, both benchmark automotive exhibitions in Asia, will be launched in April in a hybrid manner. TAITRA said that the online show is slated to first debut on April 11, with 150 manufacturers signed up. The physical exhibition is planned to be held from April 20 to 23 at the Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. This year, nearly 600 manufacturers have signed up, using 1,200 booths, doubling from last year.
Due to the global epidemic, the exhibition format has been changed to keep pace with the times, as well as encourage international buyers to partake in the event despite the travel restrictions. The online exhibition will be held from April 11 to 24, and the physical exhibition will be held from April 20 to 23.
Auto parts and accessories manufacturers such as Nanhuang Traffic, Red Wood Enterprise, and C.T.I. Traffic Industries are all participating as well.
Due to the rise of electric vehicles, this year's AMPA series exhibition will display related spare parts in the emerging sector, the new focus of the exhibition. Feihong Technology, the world's top 10 power supply manufacturer, Tesla supplier Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable, and K.S. Terminals will all participate in the exhibition.
The show will display categories ranging from auto parts, auto manufacturing and maintenance-related equipment, scooter parts, electric vehicles, and related spare parts.
The trade association further pointed out that visitors can register to participate in the online exhibition through simple appointments, browse manufacturers' product catalogs, and chat online to conduct in-depth discussions with manufacturers.
Taiwan's auto parts exports in 2021 will reach 7.98594 trillion U.S. dollars, an increase of 14% compared to 2020. In particular, exports to China, Mexico, and Germany have grown significantly, with more than 40 million U.S. dollars, showing hot demand in these markets.
