TILS 2014 and LED Taiwan 2014 to be Complete 2-in-1 Lighting Fair

The Taiwan International Lighting Show (TILS) 2014 will be staged alongside LED Taiwan 2014 March 20-23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in southeastern Taipei City, with the aim to create Taiwan's largest trade platform for LED lighting with an estimated number of 1,000 booths.

Taiwan's largest lighting-technology trade show, TILS is organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, co-administered by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association (TLFEA). LED Taiwan 2014, co-organized by TAITRA and San Jose, US-headquartered Semiconductor Equipment & Materials International (SEMI), is Taiwan's exclusive LED industry show.

The 2-in-1 event displays a complete LED-lighting supply chain covering upstream, midstream and downstream products, including LED devices, LED-packaging equipment, materials, components, inspection and testing tools, thermal-dissipation solutions, and lighting fixtures.

With scale steadily increasing in recent years, TILS 2014 will see the island's prominent manufacturers as D&A International Corp., Delta Electronics Co., Ltd., Edison Opto Corp., Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd., Nan Ya Photonics Inc., ProLight Opto Technology Corp., Epistar Corp., TYC Brother Industrial Co., Ltd., Avertronics Inc., Mean Well Enterprise Co., Ltd., Cindi Enterprise Co., Ltd., Taiwan Tang Hua Co., Ltd.

Exhibitors at LED Taiwan 2014 will not just show product technologies and solutions, but etching, handler, substrate, and diamond cutting processes.

On the sideline of the show, the Taiwan Optoelectronic Semiconductor Industry Association (TOSIA) will hold forums addressing the development of Taiwan's LED lighting, photonic lighting development on Taiwan and  China, and latest development trend of LED lighting.

For the first time, Zhaga Consortium, an international body of 249 LED-technology companies working on interface standards for interchangeability of LED light engines, is invited by the organizer to co-host forums during the show. (KL)
