Taipei, Nov.21, 2012 (CENS)--Rechi Precision Co. Ltd., a maker of compressor in Taiwan, will hold an annual conference for its global suppliers on Nov. 25, with the world's top air-conditioner makers including Gree Electric Appliances Inc., Midea Group, and Hisense Kelon Electrical Holdings Company Ltd. to attend to secure orders.

Rechi's capacity utilization rebounded from 70% in the third quarter to 90% in the fourth quarter, with compressor shipments estimated to reach a new high in 2013 to exceed 12 million units.

Rechi is Taiwan's largest and one of the world's five largest compressor manufacturers, whose annual global supply chain conference aims to form tight partnerships with upstream and downstream suppliers.

Rechi recently received orders from the world's top five makers of air conditioners including Gree, Midea, and Hisense Kelon, expecting to see enhanced operations driven by growing orders from other giant vendors such as Haier Inc., TCL Corporation, Sharp Corp., Chigo Group, and Aux Group.

Rechi saw consolidated revenues in the first three quarters down 7% year on year to NT$11.761 billion (US$392.03 million), but up 16% from a year earlier in both gross profit margin and net profits, with a record high of NT$1.71 (US$0.057) in EPS (earnings per share). An executive of the firm says new air-conditioner launches with energy-saving subsidies in China will fuel Rechi's shipment growth in the fourth quarter.
