Sun Lung Launches Green Purified Gearbox

Taipei, March 1, 2012 (CENS)--Sun Lung Gear Works Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a series of “green purified gearbox” featuring greasy dirt and iron chippings absorb mechanism, which are invention patented in several nations.

Many specialists from abroad said that Sun Lung is a worldwide pioneer in developing the green purified gearbox in the field of oil-purifying technologies. At present, the company's R&D team is developing advanced technology used in automobile gearboxes.

Founded in 1960, Sun Lung specializes in making precision gears and gearboxes for plastic extruders. In terms of product quality and sales volume, Sun Lung is one of Taiwan's renowned manufacturers in the gear sector. A member of the U.S-based American Gear Manufacturers Association, the company is certified by such international standards as ISO9001, CE and TUV. In 1997, the company partnered with a Japanese firm—PLACO—to develop precision gears and gearboxes for plastic extruders, and has seen robust sales globally since.

The gear components and gearboxes developed by Sun Lung are widely used in machinery in the iron and steel, shipbuilding, papermaking, printing, cement, screw, plastic extrusion, power generation, cable, aerospace, rubber-processing, civil engineering industries.

Having sold from 2002 to 2011 15,000-odd gearboxes to 20 nations, the maker mainly exports to the U.S., Japan, Italy, Australia, Russia, China, Brazil, the Middle East, Iran, India, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
