2012/02/14 | By Ken Liu

Taipei, Feb. 14, 2012 (CENS)--Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd. has introduced mid-power and low-power LED devices for various lighting modules.

The devices include its 0.06W-rated 3528 and 3020 packages, 0.2W-rated 5050 package, and 0.4W-rated and 0.5W-rated 5630 packages. These packages can produce 100 lumens per watt, making them ideal devices for light bars, light tubes, and omni-directional light bulbs.

The 3020 and 3528 packages feature low power consumption and slim size, allowing lighting manufacturers to put them on fins of thermal-dissipation module in dense arrays. The packages deliver highly uniform light and effective thermal dissipation. Their bin uniformity is at 200mcd/bin and their forward voltage is at 0.1V/bin, suggesting their optimized circuit designs and excellent energy saving performance.

The 5630 packages are ideal for light bulbs. Industry executives estimated around 257 million LED light bulbs to be shipped throughout 2013 along with prices of the bulbs declining to points acceptable to general consumers.
