Chern Shing Develops New Products to Maintain Global Strength

Taipei, Feb. 13, 2012 (CENS)--With an engineering background in producing sporting goods and brake wire system, Chern Shing Top Co. has successfully diversified its product lines into OA furniture parts. The company's newly developed lumbar supporting mechanism for OA chair has won certificates both at home and abroad, which are believed to help it maintain strength in the world trade arena.

The new lumbar supporting mechanism is ergonomically designed and can be adjusted to fit various lumbar curvatures and effectively help relieve the stress of the sitter. Besides, the cover of the lumbar support is made of nonflammable materials that assure safety with the fireproof nature.

Established in 1997 in Chiayi, southern Taiwan, Chern Shing focused on making auto parts in the first 10 years and then diversified into making adjustable lumbar support and related accessories for OA chairs.

A senior company executive indicated that the company's involvement in the manufacture of lumbar support for OA chairs was inspired by its experience in auto parts. Makers of car seats tend to pay considerable attention to lumbar support design. So, Chern Shing redesigned the auto seat lumbar support to suit OA chair users, creating a series of manually and power adjustable models.

With the specially treated materials, the company's high-end durable lumbar supports have been tested by SGS to withstand over 100,000 bends, making them structurally stronger than competing models.

Thanks to top quality and innovative design of its products, Chern Shing hasn't felt significant shipment declines amid the recent global downturn. On the contrary, it has witnessed increasing orders from emerging countries.
