Taipei, Feb. 1, 2012 (CENS)--Qin Wei Electric Corp., a professional maker of electric motors in Taiwan, has had its high-efficiency series motors officially certificated in different countries of the world.

The company, dedicated to production of low voltage single and three phase induction motors, indicated that its IE2 (high efficiency standard) and IE3 (premium efficiency standard) motors have been accredited to MEPS (Minimum Efficiency Performance Standards) by Queensland Government, as well as officially recognized in China, Korea and Taiwan.

The technology-driven company has been devoted to R&D to lead the industry in Taiwan, and has skillfully taken advantage of its world-caliber professionalism and strong system integration capability to provide problem-solving manufacturing and services to customers in different industries.

The company stressed that its motors have met EFF1 standards in Europe and the U.S., and have all been certified by UL, CE and CSA for globally proven performance and functional safety. Furthermore, the company can handle custom production, hence enjoying a higher profile in the line.

Market demand for high-efficient motors is expected to grow faster in the coming years, mainly because most of such products have a lifespan of up to 20 years, and can cut more electricity consumption than conventional motors, though usually priced 20% higher.

According to Taiwan-based research body, Industrial Technology Research Institute, the total electricity fee commands 97% of the real cost of a motor used lifetime, with that on initial purchase accounting for only 2% of which. This indicates the significance of energy efficiency of a motor.

Furthermore, Qin Wei emphasized, its high-efficiency motors are 3-10% more energy-efficient than competing models, hence effectively reducing carbon emission. This feature will help users to tackle global warming and sky-high prices of energy.
