Lustrous Technology Unveils Advantageous LED Packages

Taipei, Dec. 23, 2011 (CENS)--Lustrous Technology Ltd., a leading LED packagewell versed in multichip-on-board packaging technology in Taiwan, recently introduced a series of advantageous products for lighting applications.

At drive current of 200mA, its LUSTRON506 5,000K white-light device produces140 lumens per watt with a 70 CRI. The family's 3,000K warm-white device produces 125 lumens per watt with a 90 CRI.

Its Coral-codenamed packages come in 13W and 26W types in terms of power rate. This family's warm-white packages generate 90 lumens per watt at CRI 85 and its cool-white devices produce 120 lumens per watt at CRI70. This family is primed for recessed lights, streetlights, high-bay lights and downlights.

The company's Jade high-voltage packages are meant for light bulbs for their omni-directional beaming and 3,000K warm white light. This family comes in 6W, 9W and 12W, making them ideal replacement for 40W, 60W and 75W incandescent bulbs, respectively.

The company is putting its new products on LM-80 energy-efficiency test to prove their compliance with Energy Star standard. These packages, required by the test, are going through a 6,500 hour non-stop operation, which will complete sometime next year.

The company uses its expertise on chip-on-board packaging to offer lighting manufacturers the solutions that can replace traditional lighting fixtures, including 75W incandescent lamp, 100W downlights and 400W streetlights.
