2010/07/09 | By CENS

The 7th International Plastic & Packaging Industry Exhibition - PLASTI&PACK Pakistan 2010-held at the Karachi Expo Centre from May 31 to June 3, 2010, covered the latest technologies and machinery related to the integrated plastic, printing and packaging sectors. Some say the success of the event was attributable to the increasing use of plastic and packaging materials in various industries, resulting in increased imports of plastics into the country, totaling US$ 978.2 million in 2009-10.

Moreover, various organizations are engaging in extensive R&D related to eco-friendly materials as bio-degradable and bio-available plastics, with such developments creating numerous investment and expansion opportunities in Pakistan.

PLASTI&PACK PAKISTAN 2010 was billed as a comprehensive event for the integrated plastic, printing and packaging sectors.
