LiFePO4 battery cells, packs
2009/10/09 | By Quincy LiangThe company claims that it has successfully developed lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, including both LiFePO4 single cell and packs for various industrial applications.
LTI is a specialized, amply-experienced maker of high-power LiFePO4 batteries, with its 10Ah product having been tested successfully by the Sandia National Laboratories of the U.S. The tests show that the LTI battery technology works to a 10C1 discharge rate with minimal energy loss. The utility PSOC-cycle was tested at up to the 4C1 pulse rate, with 8,394 PSOC pulsed cycles completed.
The advanced battery maker also develops high-power lithium iron phosphate batteries for electric vehicle (40120-3.3V10Ah) and high energy-density of lithium iron phosphate batteries as storage batteries (46155-3.3V20Ah) for wind and solar generators.
LTI says that it has been actively trying to partner with universities and R&D institutes to develop the next-generation intelligent EVs and HEVs, as well as rapid-charge wind or solar generators. (QL)
