Taipei, June 24, 2009 (CENS)--Taiwan-based Tong Lung Metal Industry Co., a leading supplier of locksets, recently landed orders from a large-sized bathroom fitting brand Kludi of Germany, effectively diversifying into the segment, according to the company.

Tony Ho, chairman of Tong Lung, said that his firm has been engaged in ODM (original design manufacturer) of locksets, and successfully won orders from some international leading brands, including Black and Decker and Assa Abloy, recently.

The firm's effort on production and development of bathroom fittings has already been recognized by Germany's leading brand Kludim, who placed orders for faucet parts, hence paving the way to the bathroom fittings segment. Above all, Ho stressed, Tong Lung, aided by Test Rite Group, will very likely vie for more orders from foreign clients. At present, the Test Rite Group, with Ho also as the chairman, owns such large-sized home improvement centers as B&Q and HOLA, achieving sound distribution channels in Taiwan.

In the meantime, Ho indicated that Tong Lung has already finished capacity expansion in its production plant and has begun running its brand new die-casting factory in the Philippines, effectively boosting its production capacity.
