Asustek's Newest Eee PCs Rivet Buyers' Attention at CES 2009

Taipei, Jan. 15, 2009 (CENS)--Asustek Computer Inc., the supplier of the world's most popular Netbook PC, Eee PC, debuted several newest models and related applications, successfully attracting buyers' attention at the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2009 closing on Jan. 11, in Las Vegas, the U.S., according to company sources.

With a slogan "ACCESS the Life with ASUS" to symbolize its newest Eee PC series products at the show, Asustek showcased three thematic product lines: mobile computing, touch based computing and shared computing, hoping to impress buyers with a concept that mobile network and Netbook PC technology will become absolutely indispensable in people's daily lives in the future.

Among the newest products unveiled at CES 2009 was ASUS S121 notebook PC, which adopts Intel's Atom Z520 processor and a 512GB hard disc drive, featuring a shorter time span for booting and rebooting and higher performance of processing data. Besides, built with Asustek's cutting-edge Super Hybrid Engine technology, the notebook can continuously work for up to eight hours under the power-stingy model.

However, Eee PC T91, the biggest hit with visitors at the show, is the newest model of the brand's Eee PC series, featuring Intel's Z520 processor and an 8.9-inch, rotating touch screen. In addition, the product also supports handwriting input technology and boasts a built-in digital TV receiver and GPS (global positioning system) device, actually wowing visitors who were looking at the introduction.

Another amazing product unveiled by Asustek at the show was Eee Keyboard, which surprisingly is a Netbook PC, fitted Intel's Atom processor, a 5-inch touch screen and Microsoft's Windows XP operating system. The innovative product can remotely link via the wireless network with LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs and LCD monitors, allowing a more convenient digital home life for users.
