Awarded mushroom LED portable lamp family

Home Resource Industrial Co., Ltd. showed its awarded "Mushroom LED Portable Lamp" family at the Frankfurt Lighting+Building 2008 show, which was held from April 6 through 11.

The lamp, codenamed ETLED-18B, won the Red Dot Design Award: product design 2008. The award has been honored as Oscar Award for industrial designers. It is a coveted international product design prize granted by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany.

ETLED-18B was one of the 3,203 competing designs from 51 nations vying for the prizes. For Home Resource, the victory represents the company has successfully transformed itself into a brand-name supplier from OEM and ODM.

ETLED-18 is a combination of novel LED lighting and design aesthetics. LED bulbs are installed onto a shiny chromed reflector, so that some rays can be reflected to the matte lower part of the transparent mushroom-shaped lampshade to illuminate the lamp while some are reflected to the upper part to create halos for decoration and light effects.

The lamp is powered by battery or transformer. It has been protected by patents.

In addition to ETLED-18B, the company demonstrated its UFO family of LED lights, which include garden and garden-path lights, table lights as well as mirror lights.

Home Resource will market its latest products through boutiques and lighting design houses.
