Taipei, June 5, 2008 (CENS)--HTC Corp. of Taiwan, a global leader in mobile phone innovation and design, recently announced that three cellphone models customized for T-Mobile Germany would be promoted starting in the third quarter.

In early May, HTC unveiled its latest flagship phone, the HTC Touch Diamond in London and simultaneously announced the winning of orders for the new model from top-five telecom carriers in Europe. Among the clients, Vodafone is scheduled to bundle the Touch Diamond with the HTC brand logo for the first time, while T-Mobile and O2 will still push the new device with their own company names.

In the U.K., T-Mobile has announced to procure the HTC Touch Diamond and would push the new model with the name of MDA Compact IV, which is expected to be vended in July with some minor differences from its original version.

In Germany, T-Mobile has announced to push three new cellphone models in the third quarter, including the customized HTC Touch Diamond, the MDA Vario IV (in Touch Diamond's styling plus side-slide QWERTY keyboard, and the model is dubbed as Rapheal inside HTC), and the Ameo 16GB (Shift in Asia).

HTC Europe vice president Florian Seiche stressed that MDA Compact IV's fashionable styling, 3D user interface, and broadband Internet connectivity would bring brand-new user experiences.
