Established in 1989, the ISO 9001: 2000- and QS 9000-certified as well as TS16949-pending Taizhou Yongan Redirector Co., Ltd. specializes in designing, development, and manufacturing of automotive power- and mechanical-steering racks. The company globally markets its products under its own YAS brand.

The firm runs a 20,000-plus square meter factory, employs more than 350 well-trained production-line and administrative employees, and adopts some of the most advanced manufacturing and inspection equipment to maintain high quality. Currently, Taizhou Yongan has an annual capacity of about 700,000 steering racks, more than 70% of which are exported to major customers in Europe, America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

In addition, the company management says it has a strong R&D department backed by several of the top engineers in the line, and that it adopts a stringent quality-control system.

The company now produces more than 20 power-steering rack series in some 300 models for sedans, mini cars for the replacement market. The firm has designed and developed numerous models specifically for VWs, Renaults, Fiats, Fords, and Toyotas.
