WUHU HONGMING PLASTIC PRODUCTS CO., LTD (refered as "WHHM" "WUHU HONGMING"), is one of six subsidiary companies controlled by CIXI HENGYI (Another five subsidiary companies of CIXI HENGYI are Cixi Hengyi Plastic Products Co., Ltd, Ninghai Hengyi Toolmaking Co., Ltd, Hefei Hongming Plastic products Co., Ltd, Qingdao Hongming Plastic Products Co., Ltd and Hangzhou Hongming Plastic Products Co., Ltd). WHHM, located at Fengminghu Road, Economic Technical Development Zone, Wuhu, Anhui, was founded in Jun 2002, cover 30, 000m2, building area of 1st project 15,000m2, including household appliance molding workshop 5, 000m2, warehouse 10, 000m2,. There are 26 set molding machines in 1st project molding workshop, locking force of machine is from 58 ton to 1080 ton, total molding capacity is about 4500 tons per year. The second project, automotive plastic products workshop 2000 m2, 18 sets of molding machine will be added in new workshop, then total molding capacity of WHHM will reach 6, 000 tons per year. The third project, automotive plastic products workshop, will be carried out in the end of 2006 by the schedule, covering 27000 m2.
Chery Automotive, Hitachi Appliance is two major customers of WHHM currently. To meet the increasing need of customers, WHHM has installed Central Material Conveying System, and introduced robot system to take off molded part from machine. WHHM has equipped many necessary test and inspection machine, E. P. Melt Flow Index Tester, Universal Testing Machine, Vicat Softening Point / Heat Deflection Test Apparatus etc. WHHM implements total process quality control system, has passed QS9000 : 1998 quality system certification in Apr 2004, and passed ISO14001 : 1996 Environment System in Oct 2004. To improve quality control level, WHHM introduced TS16949 Quality System in Oct 2005.
