GMB Ball Mill
Detail Specifications / Descriptions
The ball mill is applied in grinding various raw materials of high hardness and sensitive characteristics into products with more consistent particle size, featuring high operational reliability.
The easy-to-operate ball mill has wide ranging applications, equipped typically with inner sleeve of replaceable steel or rubber with wavy and lifter bars to induce regular mixing and friction of material, which results in repeated cascading of material against grinding media to achieve evenly sized particles. Grinding media is generally of spherical forged steel, cast steel and cast iron, which are thermal treated to achieve optimal grinding coefficient. Also the grinding barrel has barrier plates to control flow of the slurry to enhance circulating load, production and minimize output of small particles.
When the materials to be ground, for examples in ceramic, pottery and glass industries, must not contact relatively harder and damaging ferrous metal and other substances to secure quality, the grinding barrel can be lined with clay, aluminum oxide or hardened ceramic.
