Auto terminal and global auto seat maker inks joint venture partnership
2021/09/23 | By EDNAuto terminal maker Hu Lane Associate Inc. announced on Wednesday a partnership with global vehicle seat maker LEAR Co., which will result in a joint venture based out of Yangzhou, China.
Hu Lane is looking to enter the international automotive manufacturing supply chain, expand LEAR's vertical integration reach, and expand its own terminal product reach into the global automotive manufacturing design and production.
Hu Lane Chairman Chang Tzu-hsung said he hopes the partnership will elevate the company's reputation in the auto terminal market, and optimize their current product line-up and innovative technical abilities. The idea is to get a leg into the global production chain through embracing industrial vertical integration, Chang said.
As the company is entering the traditional peak season for automotive deliveries, Hu Lane's fourth-quarter performance is expected to outpace Q3 statistics, with a chance to exceed the same period of 2020 should the COVID-19 pandemic ease up.
