U-Chance Outdoes Rivals Globally With Solid R&D Program

2009/10/06 | By Steve Chuang | U-CHANCE AUTOPARTS CO.

Since its inception in 1994 and after years of continuous improvement on production and R&D, U-Chance Autoparts Co. Ltd. has managed to build a name in the increasingly challenging fastener sector, helped along by being located in Kaohsiung County, southern Taiwan, where nearly 80% of Taiwanese fastener makers are clustered.

Operating a factory with advanced equipment and skilled workers, this maker rolls out 150 metric tons of fasteners per month, including weld screws, roller parts, clamp screws, double threaded rods, hex head screws, Torx head screws, socket head screws, square head screws, flange screws, SEM (screws and washers assembled) screws, bolts, washers, T nuts, square nuts, rivets, and related lathed and pressed parts. All these products are available in stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, brass, copper, aluminum and titanium, and they are widely used in furniture, automotive and mechanical applications.

Working with Toyota to achieve the finest quality, U-Chance is ISO 9001-certified and supplies fasteners for BMW E93 G3 series cars. The company also supplies fasteners for Toyota, Ford and GM cars, and its products are also well received by buyers from North America, Latin America and Europe. Selling some of its output under the own brand Y.C., this maker even claims a zero-ppm defect rate, underlining its confidence in quality.

U-Chance's R&D strength clearly shows in its best products: The maker's multi-nationally patented set slot screws are produced without need for final finishing-being entirely burr-free on the two sides of the slot. Also, the slot can be added with extra configuration as cross, square or socket cap for improved functionality. The company is also well recognized as a competent ODM.
