Tahsiang Industry Co., Ltd., established in 1975, is one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of rubber transmission belts. The company operates two production facilities each in Shalu of Taichung County, Taiwan and Kunshan of Jiangsu Province, mainland China.

The ISO14001 and ISO9001-certified company has tapped mainland China market for over a decade. The company first set up a plant in Shanghai Municipality and then moved it to Kunshan two years ago.

The company has been devoted to production of high-end rubber belts to cope with customers' demand for reliable products as they are used as a critical transmission part for machinery and other industrial fields.

With an in-house research and development department, the company uses self-developed techniques to develop the products. At present, Tahsiang's major product lines are rubber V and fan belts, mainly used in machinery engines.

Tahsiang currently has two own brands of "Elephant" and "Mountain." The company notes its own-brand products are warmly welcomed in industrialized nations because of highly reliable quality.

The company currently is capable of rolling out 300,000 rubber V and fan belts per month, both at home and in mainland China. A majority of its products are sold to the international marketplace. Major export outlets include Southeast Asia, the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe and Africa.
