Talking about Chiseng, everything started in the year of 1916.
Mr. Chen, Hong Mao, the great grand father of the present president Chen Hong Zhi, established a Chinese herbs company called Chen Chi-Seng trading firm in Dadao –Cheng Area (An-Xi Street ). He died at a very young age and then Mr. Chen’s wife – Lin took care of the business and brought up 3 sons and 2 daughters alone.
In 1977, Chi-Seng Hong trading firm officially altered to a limited join stock company, named Chi-Seng Hong Ltd. A family base company led by the eldest son of the Chens, set up the foundation for the future.
The first factory was also built at the very same year in Xin Zhuang, Taipei County.
In 2001, Chi-Seng introduced the frozen grinding technique into its producing lines. This special grinding system lifted up the quality of grinding spices ever since. Furthermore, Chi-Seng established the first food GMP standard factory in Douliou, Yunlin county of Taiwan. Keep providing the very best quality of spices to the distributors and retail stores in Taiwan and throughout the whole world.
Chi-Seng’s famous spices brand “ FM” has now owned its public praise in Taiwan. Freshest quality, good aroma and charming flavor came from almost a hundred year of experiences.
Before Chi Seng celebrate its 100 year-old birthday, “FM” is developing a few new lines of instant cream soup, ready-to-use sauces for home kitchen. We aim to satisfy the demands of the convenient life for the 21 century.
