Shini Well Versed in Equipment For Plastics Industry

Shini Plastics Technologies Inc., founded in 1969, specializes in the development and production of various kinds of ancillary equipment for the plastics-forming industry. It claims one of the most progressive in-house research and development departments in its sector in Taiwan.

Shini started off manufacturing heating pipes and heating blades, and soon R&D and the making of its ancillary equipment line. Management states that its long-term efforts at innovation have led to wide renown and respect for its 'Shini' brand.

The company has three plants. One in Taipei County, north Taiwan, one in Dongguan in China's Guangdong Province, and one in Ningbo in China's Zhejiang Province. Booming orders has led the firm to the formulation of blueprints for the expansion of its extant facilities.

With a combined work force of 1,000, the company is capable of rolling out 6,500 plastics ancillary-equipment units per month. Its products are primarily sold in Taiwan, mainland China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America.

Over the past few years, Shini has been vigorous in taking part in internationally renowned plastics-trade shows. Management says its models received a warm welcome at the recent Chinaplas' 05 exhibition, the 19th Guangzhou International Plastics & Rubber Industry Show, held at the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 21-24.

At the show, Shini showcased four categories of plastics-related machinery, including dehumidifying and drying series, conveying and mixing series, heating and cooling series, granulating and recycling series. Major items showcased at the show included dryers, dehumidifiers, dehumidified drying systems, all-in-one compact dryers, auto loaders, gravimetric blenders, volumetric blenders, dust separating units, metal detecting and separating units, centralized conveying systems, mold temperature controllers and water chillers, teeth-cutter granulators, by-the-press granulators, sound-proof granulators, and instant recycling devices.
