Ming Yang Machinery Co., Ltd., established in October 1984, specializes in the development and production of both automatic lathes and CNC (computerized numerically controlled) lathes.
Headquartered in Tantz of Taichung County, central Taiwan, Ming Yang has two production facilities each in Taiwan and Zhangjiang, Jiangsu province, China. At present, the company is capable of rolling out 260 automatic lathes and 15 CNC lathes, per month, both at home and in mainland China.

The company says it has won affirmation from domestic customers for its long-term effort to elevate the added value and function of its products. At present the company mainly sells products to mainland China and some Southeast Asian nations.

Lin Jung-feng, president of the company, notes his company has developed a wide range of automatic lathes and CNC lathes which can fully meet customers' specific machining requirements. The company's products can help customers tackle the problem in making metal parts automatically. In addition, the company's CNC lathes can provide continuous operations.

Ming Yang uses 'MY' brand. With an in-house research and development department, the company is capable of developing innovative products at any time. "Based on the concept of sustainable operation, we will never stop developing new products with strengthened functions," says Lin.

At present the company's product lines include three CNC models of My Turn-34, 42, and Mitano BNC-34C, and five series of automatic lathes of M-1525, 1525-1, 1525-2, 2025-1, and 2025-2. In the foreseeable future the company will begin production of My Turn-25 series of CNC lathes, which is more compact than the already-developed CNC models.

The CNC lathe produced by Ming Yang can meet the demand for automated production because it can do 16-hour no-man operation with main turret and sub-turret are capable of working simultaneously. The heavy-duty spindle design features three bevel-angular ball bearings in the front. The rear part of the spindle is supported by a roller bearing to assure high-speed operation of high loading.

The bed and saddle of the machine are made of high-grade Meehanite cast iron, featuring rigid and solid construction. Guideways are hardened, precision ground, and hand scraped to ensure a geometric tolerance.

Ming Yang says its single-shaft five-tool precision automatic lathe is one of its hot-selling items in recent years. The machine features a modern tool assortment tank and oil tank which can prevent the pileup of workpiece chips.
