Han Sum is utilizing the finite element software--ANSYS to predict the
deformation and stress state of a machine during service to see whether
the design can meet the requirements and all the material parameters are
constantly measured in house or by certified laboratories. New innovation
and ideas have been proposed and discussed in research projects with
universities and research institutes in Taiwan. Some of the research projects
were government sponsored. Thus, Han Sum owns more than 10 patents and
will apply more. In addition, Han Sum also discusses intensively with their
customers in order to design machines to meet their demands.
