Zipp Tools (Taiwan) Ltd. Introduces Precision Planetary Gear Reducers

Zipp Tools (Taiwan) Ltd. Has recently introduced a family of precision planetary gear reducers for pneumatic motors, servomotors and step motors used in automatic transmission systems.

The reducers are equipped with a patent-pending internal gear, which ensures durability and low noise. Their unique design also features multiple-speed reductions and efficient torque outputs. A closed-seal design prevents all lubricant grease from leaking from the reducers, and precision gears raise transmission efficiency to 95%.

The reducers are available in N-type low backlash and S-type standard backlash models. Integral gear ratios are available ranging from 3:1 to 100:1, giving customers a wide selection of ratios to choose from. The parts are easy to install in motors because they follow the NEMA motor norm. Machined from hard alloy steels processed with heat treatment, the reducers are also extremely durable. To back up its durability claims, Zipp offers a 12-month warranty on all of its planetary gear products beginning when they are shipped from original manufacturing factory.

The company has been contracted to supply OEM-based products to pneumatic and hydraulic tool suppliers in Europe, Japan and the U.S. for decades.
