Cheng Mei Focuses On Vacuum And Pressure Forming Machines

Cheng Mei Machine Co., Ltd., established in 1984, specializes in the design and manufacture of vacuum and pressure forming machines and cutters. In addition to special-purpose machines, the company also offers standard models, including chain-type vacuum forming machines and cutters of fully automated and semi-automated types.

The company says it has an in-house research and development department in charge of developing innovative products to meet the special demands of the food industry and others.

In order to produce machines that feature high quality, low energy consumption, and high productivity, as well as easy operation and maintenance, the company utilizes computer aided design (CAD) to increase production efficiency.

In the first quarter of this year, Cheng Mei completed development of digital continuous air-pressing/vacuum forming machine which can be equipped with automatic punch cutter machine for more automatic operations. The machine features programmable logic controller, humanized color touch-screen control operation interface, rapid mold changing device, and special temperature control system.

The company says the digital continuous air-pressing/vacuum forming machine is especially designed for applications in producing a variety of industrial packaging materials, such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). It is also suitable for the production of food containers and disposable tableware, etc.

Cheng Mei boasts a number of its products are fitted with special patented mechanisms, such as the patented specific screw clip system in its digital continuous air-pressing/vacuum forming machines.

At present, Cheng Mei is capable of producing more than 50 machines annually, mainly for exporting to overseas markets worldwide.
