Starting out by making ratchet screwdrivers and then venturing into magnetic tools, Stand Tools has accumulated ample experience and expertise in production of hand tools. However, what redefines Stand Tools' name as a high-tech manufacturer of ideas is launch of its newest MEMS (micro electro mechanical systems)-integrated digital torque wrench. To enhance the degree of precision of its digital torque wrench, Stand Tools innovatively applies MEMS chips onto the wrench, in a bid to take advantage of the microelectronic component's higher precision of torque measuring than that of traditional strain gages that have been commonly used in competing wrenches.
