Rechi Precision wins order for 150,000 air compressors from Haier

Taipei, Jan. 2, 2003 (CENS)--Rechi Precision Inc. said yesterday that it has obtained an order for 150,000 air compressors from Haier Group, the largest home appliance group in mainland China, recently.

Haier Group released its domestic air compressor order to Rechi Precision for the first time. This is expected to encourage local counterparts in mainland China to follow suit in the future, executives at Rechi Precision said.

In the past, Rechi Precision only received air compressor orders for exports from the Haier Group.

In December alone, Rechi Precision delivered 300,000 air compressors, a new monthly high in recent years. Its revenue is estimated to exceed NT$300 million at the same time, compared with NT$240 million in November.
