Founded in 1961, Kuang Yuang Industrial Co., Ltd. Specializes in the production of hand tools, its catalog today brimming with different models. Recently the company launched two new series of "heavy-duty new-concept adjustable wrenches" and "100-volt safety high-leverage pliers."

The firm's major product lines are adjustable wrenches, groove-joint pliers, locking pliers, cutting pliers, long-nose pliers, bend-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, diagonal cutting pliers, wire/cable strippers, crimping tools, co-axial cable crimpers, mini cutters, universal pliers, locking pliers and slip-joint pliers.

Kuang Yuang's products are sold under the 'Lion' brand. The company has a plant in Taichung County, central Taiwan with a work force of 270. In addition to own-brand products, the company also accepts orders on an original equipment manufacturer basis.

The company's heavy-duty new-concept adjustable wrench employs metal and composite materials which can reduce 20% up to 25% weight of the finished products. With erosion-, acid-resistant advantages, the wrench can exert 40% operating strength more than conventional one. The company boasts the newly developed wrench is convenient in use because it adopts an ergonomics design concept.

Another new product developed by Kuang Yuang is the high-leverage plier that can save cutting power in an effective way. The plier features serrated jaw and induction hardened cutting edges to ensure sharp and quick cutting. Also in ergonomics design, the product makes users comfortable in hand-gripping.

Kuang Yang says all of its products have to get through stringent cutting and loading tests and meet the Germany VDE standards.

Kuang Yuang mainly sells products to North America, Latin America, Western Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
