A leading Taiwanese screwdriver supplier, Chinsing Industries Co. is promoting a new, patented multifunctional model.

This screwdriver features a six-centimeter extension rod, 20 bits, and a bit-storage case. The extension rod and bits are made of S2-class high-strength steel, making them suitable for use with power tools.

The storage case is made of engineering plastic, making it hard enough to act as the screwdriver's handle. The case's cap is removed when it is to be used as a handle, generally for work in narrow spaces. The core of the case is made of nylon fiber, maximizing durability.

The unit is only 10 cm long and four cm in diameter when folded. It has been patented in Taiwan, Germany, the United States, and mainland China.

Chinsing was founded in 1972, starting off in the production of impact drivers. It soon diversified into the production of magnetic drivers and drivers for electronic devices including mobile phones.

Each year the company introduces three to five new products--a team effort, says management, on the part of the firm's four design engineers and 36 factory workers. The ISO-9001 and ISO-9002-qualified company promises an average delivery time of 45 days.
