Shenzhen Kingland Seeks Throne in LED Decoration Lighting

Founded in 1993, Shenzhen Kingland Lighting Co., Ltd. Is one of China's leading suppliers of original-equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original-design manufacturing (ODM) light-emitting diode (LED) lighting for decoration purposes, especially holiday decorations.

The company is located in the thriving Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Running a 6,000-square-meter facility equipped with some 400 workers, including a team of 30 highly educated engineers, Kingland was one of the pioneers in China's LED industry. Over the past few years, management states, the company has made marked progress in its technological sophistication and collected many patents, including one for a unique pin/connector design.

The company utilizes copper pins in its LED-lighting systems because copper devices can outlive their ferro-alloy cousins and feature greater rigidity.

The firm's LED rope lights, string lights, twinkle lights, and curtain lights enjoy solid demand in Western Europe and North America, and are often demonstrated at leading trade-fair gatherings such as the annual Frankfurt lighting-trade show and a similar show in China's Guangdong.

Currently, according to management, Kingland puts out two million meters a month of LED holiday-decoration lighting strings, equipped with over 22 million LED lamps. The company's revenue has been about US$20 million in each of the past few years.

The company is optimistic about its near-term prospects, as it will continue an intensive focus on more lucrative commercial-use lighting applications.
