Solid Carbide Cutting Tools From 7-Leaders

Founded in 1990, 7-Leaders Corp. is one of Taiwan's leading suppliers of tungsten-carbide
rods. It is also the distribution agent for Extramet AG, one of the sector's leading manufacturers.

7-Leaders has a factory in the Taichung Industrial Park in Taichung City, central Taiwan. The factory currently produces solid-carbide cutting tools, including end mills, reamers, drills, and other cutting tools.

The company says its products are suitable for machine tool, automobile, pharmaceutical, and aerospace applications. The majority of its output is on OEM/ODM (original equipment/design manufacturer) terms.

Except for imported products, the company sells its products under its own "ETM" and "OSL" brands. Over the past several years, the company has developed into new overseas markets, and at present its major customers are in Asia, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and South Africa.

Equipped with state-of-the-art production equipment, 7-Leaders is capable of rolling out sophisticated cutting tools in accord with customer specifications and drawings. The company employs many imported grinding and coating machines, including those made by Walter Machine Co., Helitronic Vision Co., Balzers Machine Co., TiALN Futura-Nano Co., to assure high-quality results.

With an in-house research and development department, the company boasts it has accumulated much experience in developing cutting-edge technologies and know-how to ensure the quality of its products.

7-Leaders president Jack Lee notes that his company has earned a good reputation at home and abroad because of its efforts to develop creative and high-added-value products over the past several years. Lee says his company imports high-grade materials from Switzerland to ensure its products meet the highest quality standards.

In addition to its quality focus, 7-Leaders has devoted considerable effort to providing fast delivery and keeping its products reasonably priced.

The company has set up subsidiaries in mainland China, Thailand, and Malaysia to facilitate its expansion into those markets. Lee says that in the next few years, his company will set up other overseas branches and subsidiaries to better serve its overseas customers.
