Milling Precision Machinery Works Co., Ltd., established in 1986, is one of Taiwan's most experienced manufacturers in the design and development of milling heads and large-sized complex machines suitable for machining large-sized molds.
The company is especially known for its unbeatable double-housing milling machines. The firm also produces topflight milling-head units, used in its finished machines and sold separately.
"Because of their unmatched features, our products have been warmly welcomed both at home and abroad," says Lin Hsieh-li, president of the company.
The firm sells its exports under the "Milling" brand, mainly to Southeast Asian nations and mainland China. Exports account for approximately 35% of its total production.
Lin says few if any competitors can match his firm's deep-hole boring machines. The company's models are specially designed to accommodate last-stage mold machining. "Our small size gives us the resource flexibility to develop such special-purpose machines," Lin boasts. "We generally spend eight months to one year to complete the development of a new deep-hole boring unit."
Responding to increased demand in the international marketplace, Milling Precision is now devoted to developing large-sized machines, recently unveiling its "HM" series of double-side milling machines, which Lin states is already attracting serious attention both at home and abroad.
Three models have been rolled out to date. The models' spindles are PC-controlled. Lin advises that the units are especially suitable for making plastic and steel molds.
