Marox Wins on Variety in Cutting Tool Market

Marox Tools Industrial Co., Ltd. Is one of Taiwan's few manufacturers of precision-milling cutters. It also makes a variety of other cutting tools, including tungsten-steel-welded milling cutters.

In addition to its main factory located in Taiping, central Taiwan, the company recently set up a second factory near its first one to produce throwaway milling cutters. The new production facility is equipped with advanced machinery to ensure high quality results.

At present Marox's major product lines include end mills, shell-end mills, face mills, side mills, lathe tools (including tools for boring inner and outer diameters), cartridges, tool holders, and boring bars. Most of the products are sold under its MR brand, but the company also takes orders on original equipment/design manufacturing (OEM/ODM) terms.

Over the past few years, Marox has been investing in new production equipment and testing equipment to further enhance quality, says F.S. Lin, president of the company.

Helped by the regular debut of innovative products, Marox has enjoyed double-digit annual growth in the past several years. Sales in 2005 are expected to continue the upward trend.
