Founded in 1997, Chyun Yow Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. Has steadily upgraded its manufacturing skills over the last few years to further expand in overseas markets for high-end metal-cutting sawing machines.

The company operates a 10,800-square-foot plant in Taichung City, central Taiwan, home to many of the island's machine-tool manufacturers. The company says its George-series products are warmly welcomed around the world.

In addition to its self-designed own-brand items, Chyun Yow supplies products on original equipment/design manufacturing (OEM/ODM) basis.

Chen says his company focuses on the development of versatile band saws with long operating life. "Customer input is our most important reference for improving the functions of our products. That's why we can make machines that perfectly meet our customers' specific needs," says company president George Chen.

Recently the company has been developing advanced manufacturing technologies to support the production of computerized models.

With a work force of 20, the company has developed eight types of CY-model band saws and other new models are under development.

The company exports most of its products, mainly to Southeast Asia, the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
