Yng-Yuh Electronics Co. (known as YY Power) was established in 1976 and today is one of Taiwan's leading power-supply manufacturers. The ISO-9001:2000 company specializes in the development, production, and marketing of power-supply products.

Company officials claim that a firm commitment to best quality, highest efficiency, and greatest innovation enables them to satisfy the needs and fulfill the expectations of customers all over the world.

All of the company's products enjoy the approval of international safety organizations including UL, CSA, CE, CB, VDE, PSE, SAA, TUV, BS, JS, DENMARK PSE, GS, SEMKO, T-MARK, and 3C, guaranteeing safety as well as quality.

YY Power's products currently fall into four major categories: power transformers, DC/AC and AC/DC adapters, switching power supplies, and battery chargers for lead-acid batteries. Buyers of these products come mainly from North America, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

Company officials say that customer loyalty is assured by YY Power's high quality-control standards, ease of operation and "smart" functions of their products, small product size and light weight, the firm's unequalled follow-up services, competitive prices, two-year product warranty, customized products and services, and international quality and safety certification.

In 1992 the company set up a subsidiary and factory under the name of Chin Tang Electronic in Shanghai to handle cord-set assembly and overseas trading. Another two mainland factories were set up in 1995, one in Xiamen, Fujian Province, and the other in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, to supply transformers, adapters, and other components. In 1998 the Huizhou facility was expanded and new manufacturing and testing equipment was installed, establishing a complete quality assurance system and acquiring UL and TUV approval.

YY Power began developing the battery-charger business in 1998 and now counts CSB, one of the largest battery-making companies in the world, as its main customer.
