Yuh Lee Supplies Automobile Switches and Plugs

Established in 1985, Yuh Lee Enterprise Co., Ltd. Is an ISO9000:2000-approved maker of high-level devices for automobile and other types of machinery-related applications. The company's wide array of product series includes switches (horn, door, brake, auto-lamp, fog-lamp, others), key locks, knobs, fuse holders, sockets, cigarette-lighter plugs, and indicators.

Yuh Lee sales manager Hung Jian-chung states that his company has developed over 1,000 different product items for use in passenger cars, trucks, heavy-duty machinery, and various types of industrial machines. Molds and dies are designed and made in-house, or made in accordance to designs provided by its worldwide base of customers. The company develops an average of several dozen to 100 new items per year, based on either its own concepts or customer requirements.

Hung says that about 70% of Yuh Lee's products are exported, going to Europe, the U.S., Australia, Japan, among numerous other destinations. Its many international markets require the company to get international safety-standard approval for most of its models, especially the UL mark and E-mark. About half of the firm's products are marketed under the company's own "YL" brand, with the rest produced on OEM/ODM basis. Yuh Lee is also a leading supplier of automobile switches and plugs in Taiwan.

Yuh Lee has long-term relations with a strong group of contract manufacturers for the supply of high-level parts and components, and engages in final assembly and quality-control inspection at its 30-worker plant. The firm's products, according to Hung, are internationally respected for their high quality, durability, and precision, plus their welcome availability at comparatively moderate prices.

Hung points out that his company own strong and comprehensive mold/die development capability and any customer's specific specification or requirement can be satisfied.
