Introduction

,Twinhead International Corp. is dedicated to the manufacture of personal computers, portable computers and RISC workstations. Founded in April 1984, Twinhead started by producing video-card products and grew to become a leading producer of computer systems.

In November 1987, we expanded into the computer-systems market with the launching of the first Twinhead PCs.

OEMs also play a major role in our growth.

We have a U.S. branch office and a 15,000 square meter factory in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

By 1989, the first Twinhead portable laptop came out and a new surface mount production line was set up to facilitate the production of these portables.

Twinhead opened branch offices in Germany,

the U.K. and France in 1989 and 1990. Twinhead's ASIC department became the world's second company to produce a single chip AT solution.

In 1990, Twinhead joined the COMDEX Fall exhibition with the 386SX notebook computer,

a SPARC based workstation offering a 10% improved performance over the market equivalent--the Sun SPARC Station 2.

Our award-winning SlimNote notebook PC was also launched, quickly becoming a best seller.
