Founded in 1997, Genesys Logic, Inc. (GLI) is a fabless IC design house renowned for its leadership in high-speed IO technologies. Its USB related products have received more compliance test certifications from USB-IF than any other companies in the world. GLI is also one of the few vendors that can provide mature silicon PHY IP macros along with USB 2.0 and PCI Express SIP solutions.
GLI successfully developed the PHY technology for USB 2.0 in 2001 while other Taiwan companies were still primarily relying on licensed technologies. In 2003, it became the first company in the world to demonstrate working silicon of a fully PIPE-compliant PCI Express PHY. GLI commands a leading position in R&D possesses a powerful product development base.
GLI has shipped more than 150 million chips in the past eight years. By leveraging its mixed-signal design expertise and system know-how, GLI provides low-cost, high-performance chips that are also the best in class in terms of power consumption and die size.
