Double Microelectronics, Inc. (DBIC) was founded in 2004 by a group of experts returning from abroad together with a strong core of technology leaders from the domestic aerospace industry. The combination of knowledge and skills they brought to the company has made it a powerhouse in chip design, from inception and fabrication through product testing, to sales and technical services. Our products include smart power, high performance A/D, D/A converters, LED drivers, and communication interface ICs. We have developed a unique mixed-signal technology in PWM, and empowered our DC/DC, AC/DC products with high efficiency and quality. DBIC’s LED serial products are characterized by high-performance, high-reliability, and low energy consumption.
We have a highly educated and experienced Research and Development (R&D) team with extremely talented and dedicated staff members. Nearly half of our staff holds Masters and/or Ph.D. degrees with many years of industry leading experience. Our president alone has 20 years of experience in China's aerospace industry where he was one of the leading experts in integrated circuit design, production, and reliability. The strength of our research and development in energy saving LED drivers for lighting, display, and decoration has earned the company the prestigious honor of being named an “R&D Center” by the Pudong New District Government. We currently hold 11 intervention and application patents, and have at least 30 different types of certifications issued by the State Intellectual Property Office.
Double Microelectronics, Inc. maintains the highest level of quality standards, as recognized by the International Standards Organization. We are rigorous in the maintenance of our ISO9001:2008 quality management system certification, and have been honored by the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association as having attained the highest level of “corporate integrity.”
