the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (Die VDE
Prüf- und Zertifizierungsinstitut GmbH des Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker
e.V.). VDE has paved the way for state-of- the-art technological development
since established in 1920. Being well recognized, the VDE Institute is an
independent institution which is nationally and internationally accredited.
We are responsible for testing and certifying the safety and performance of
electronic devices, components and systems for the consumers and the general
public using the highest standards of quality. VDE has established a world-wide
network, especially in Europe and Asia, with a focus on testing and inspection
issues.
