| Centre Bells for the two-piece disc are manufactured from Forged Aluminium Alloy and C. N. C machined to fit each application.
The 292mm, 310mm, and 316mm, Disc / Rotors all use a 195mm external diameter bell, threaded and bolted to the disc using 8 x SUS27 M8 Stainless Steel Bolts with an additional lock nut for added security.
A 255mm external diameter bell is used for the 336mm disc using 12 x M8 Stainless Steel Bolts with lock nuts. The 360mm disc has a 250mm external diameter bell with 16 x M8 Stainless Steel Bolts with lock nuts.
There is a designed clearance between the disc and bell to reduce the risk of distortion due to heat expansion. The bolts should not be loosened or an attempt made to refit the bell without using the special centralising pins.
The bells are supplied in either a red or blue anodised colour. Care should be taken when cleaning the wheels as some solutions may affect the quality of this finish. Winter road salt should also be wiped off regularly. |
