"TaipeiPLAS" and "ShoeTech Taipei" are set to make a comeback in 2024, taking place from September 24 to 28 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. The two concurrent exhibitions will feature key themes such as "Innovative Materials," "Advanced Manufacturing," and "Circular Economy," which are hot topics in the manufacturing industry. The booth application will open on August 14, 2023. Interested participants are encouraged to apply early to secure the best booth location as space is limited.

Key players in the plastics, rubber, and shoe-making industries are excited about reconnecting with international buyers at TaipeiPLAS & ShoeTech Taipei 2024. According to the organizer TAITRA, the scale of the 2024 event is expecting a full recovery to pre-pandemic levels. “The goal is to attract 500 exhibitors in 2,500 booths and more than 2,000 international trade visitors,” said TAITRA.

In recent years, the plastics and shoe-making industries have accelerated the transformation towards net zero as their customers and many international brands have proposed commitments and goals for low-carbon and recycled content products, and have promoted carbon management throughout the supply chain. Consequently, global trends are driving the industry's focus on practices such as material innovation, energy-saving, waste reductions, and resource recycling in the manufacturing process.

In alignment with the low-carbon commitment, TaipeiPLAS 2024 adopts a new slogan “Shaping All PLASbility” to underscore the industry's dedication to sustainability leadership. In addition to comprehensive exhibits of smart machinery and new materials, TaipeiPLAS 2024 is launching brand-new themed areas: "Eco Service & Sustainable Packaging" and "Low-carbon & Green." These areas will showcase dynamic innovations and applications in various sectors, including smart mobility, medical supplies, aerospace, and green building.

Additionally, to streamline the sourcing process for buyers, Economic Daily News/CENS will provide on-site access to its exclusively published professional trade magazines like “Taiwan Machinery” or “Taiwan Industrial Suppliers (TIS)”. These magazines not only deliver comprehensive industry insights and exhibition updates but also offer an abundance of supplier information. Among all the quality suppliers, HIWIN Technologies Corp. stands out with products that can replace hydraulic components, leading to pollution reduction, noise mitigation, and energy conservation. Kang Chyai Industry Co., Ltd. is another noteworthy supplier, committed to catering to customized client needs by emphasizing energy efficiency, high output, low noise, workplace safety, and other critical aspects. Lastly, YEI Machinery Factory Co., Ltd. deserves mention for its range of highly productive, user-friendly, and energy-efficient products, simplifying the plastic circulation process.
