The Taiwan-based Master Automatic Co., Ltd., a builder of various vertical and horizontal machining centers, supplies double-column machining centers of 18 different specifications, suitable for use in production aerospace, automotive, rail construction, steel, chemical and energy equipment.

Master Automatic's double-column machining centers include models with door width of 1300mm/1600mm and X-axis traverse of 2000-6000mm, and those with door width and X-axis traverse of 2800mm/3200mm and 4000-6000mm, respectively. The company also welcomes custom orders.

Among the firm's double-column machining centers, the DV-2016, for example, features a gantry of uni-piece die-cast steel and with arch design, effectively bearing massive loads exerted vertically as well as horizontal stress to enable optimal rigidity that is required during cutting and machining. Unique gearbox structure of main spindle enables the rigid gears to generate high torque output that suits heavy-duty cutting.

Minimized distance between the main spindle center and Z-axix guideway effectively shortens stress on cutting arm to significantly boost cutting rigidity and hence precision, making the machine ideal for the processing of large-sized molds and parts.
