The KH-66 Broken Tap Remover launched by Koton EDM, a Taiwanese globally known brand of EDMs and developed by Kortec Precision Industrial Co., Ltd., is an ideal, useful and safe tool for removing broken taps and drill bits with ease and efficiency but without causing damages to workpiece.

Koton EDM notes that removing a busted tap or broken drill bit haphazardly with an ordinary tig welder or extractor is inefficient and difficult; and, in some cases, even causes so serious damages to the workpiece where they are stuck, that it can't be used again.

To address the commonly seen problems, Koton EDM therefore works out the KH-66, a portable broken tap remover with improved functionality. Unlike conventional removers, the instrument fuses cores of broken taps using electrical discharges, and then breaks fused scrap into pieces with water sprayed at high pressure to complete the removal without damaging workpiece.

The KH-66 is designed with a magnetic base that can firmly hold the top of a workpiece, with the work head mounted on an angle-adjustable slide plate, hence easy to use anywhere and on workpiece of any size. With the features mentioned above, the product has gained incredible popularity within a short period of time since launched.
