Eagle Eyes Traffic Ind. Co., founded in 1979, is a specialized maker of high-quality automotive lamps, offering a wide range of head lamps, tail lamps, corner lamps, side lamps, bumper lamps, fog lamps, and center-mounted brake lights, among others. The firm claims to be the world's largest supplier of performance-tuning auto lamps.

Lai Ching-tsung, general manager of Eagle Eyes, said that his company has gained a very solid foothold in the international replacement and performance-tuning auto-lamp aftermarket, while it continues to win more Original Equipment (OE) lamp orders from international carmakers.

At this year's Taipei AMPA, the company showcased high-level performance lamps to draw international buyers' attention, including headlamps for Toyota RAV4 (2013-2014), Honda CR-V (2012-2014), as well as tail lamps for Ford F150 pickup (2009-2013), Honda Accord (4D 2013-2014) etc. All the items feature state-of-the-art styling that are designed to enhance overall appeal of vehicles.

Eagle Eyes is ISO/TS 16949: 2009-, ISO 9001: 2008-, and AQRP-approved, and its lab has acquired AQRP-LAB certification qualifying it to FMVSS108 standards. This enables Eagle Eyes to perform environmental and photometric tests, and issue reports to the E-Mark and the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA). The company offers unmatched range of both aftermarket (AM) and performance-tuning products certified by E-mark, DOT, TUV, and CAPA.

Thanks to steady investment in product development, Eagle Eyes supplies about 10,000 models of automotive lamps, and invests an average of NT$400 million to NT$500 million (US$13.3 million to NT$16.7 million) in the development of 300 to 500 molds a year.

Lai says that his company ventured into the performance lamp business back in 1994 and 1995, having become a leading supplier of such products. About 50% to 60% of its revenue comes from AM replacement auto lamps, with the remainder 40% to 50% from  high-end performance products. The major export markets are the U.S. (about 30% of overall revenue), Southeast Asia (30%), and the Middle East (30%).

Eagle Eyes is expanding one of its two factories in Tainan, southern Taiwan this year, Lai says, to satisfy strong demand from China for high-performance lamps.
